The WARE Collective's proposal for establishing an Open_Air Living Museum has garnered global attention as the recipient of the 2022 ILUCIDARE Challenge Award for heritage-based innovation!
Unfortunately, museums are often considered as limited storehouses for artifacts rather than vibrant contemporary cultural spaces. WARE intends to change that.
This Open-Air Living Museum will have a different approach that enables heritage-based, community tourism and engagement.
This Living Museum Site will be a repository of information, building skills, reconstructed and repurposed historic buildings (entertainment space, restaurant, coffee shop).- a true heritage-based attraction in Southern St. Elizabeth.
